The Lenwil Elementary School Library project included a brand-new library addition and thoughtful renovations throughout the campus. The new 2,334-square-foot library provides a vibrant, engaging environment for young learners, featuring a spacious reading room, colorful book stacks, cozy reading houses, an office, restroom, and storage areas. Bold, cheerful colors and playful design elements were incorporated to spark imagination, encourage exploration, and create a welcoming atmosphere for students.
Renovations to existing spaces further enhanced the school’s functionality and flow. The former library was transformed into a classroom and two offices, while the adjacent computer lab received updated finishes to complement the new library design. Two offices were reconfigured into an additional classroom, and upgrades to a corridor and four restrooms introduced modern fixtures and finishes.
Together, the new addition and campus-wide improvements elevate both the learning experience and the overall energy of the school environment, reflecting Ouachita Parish Schools’ commitment to inspiring spaces for education and growth.
