TBA Studio was tasked with replacing the aging press box at Richwood High School, part of Ouachita Parish Schools, and enhancing the adjacent fieldhouse to better serve the school’s athletic programs. The design included the complete removal of the existing press box and construction of a new, modern facility featuring integrated signage and improvements to the existing ticket booth for better functionality and aesthetics.
The fieldhouse renovations focused on revitalizing the building’s exterior by adding canopies supported by brick pilasters that match the existing campus architecture. Metal panel accents were introduced to modernize the overall appearance while maintaining harmony with the surrounding facilities.
A new flexible meeting space was also added for student-athletes, designed with glazing to maximize natural light and create an uplifting interior environment. Throughout the project, custom graphics, logos, and signage were incorporated to enhance school spirit, visual identity, and wayfinding across the athletic complex.
